Tesseract Arc, ho...
Feb. 9th, 2008 07:12 pmTitle: Certainty
Topic: it must be love
Word Count: 300
Rating: PG-15 for references
Pairing: Sanji/Zoro through Robin's eyes
Disclaimer: Characters and setting? Not mine. Probably just as well. Here, have them back...
Summary: She watches over her little brothers. All of them.
Excuse: Ah, Robin, Robin, Robin. How we all love your pervy abilities and penchant for tuning in on the supposedly secret activities your crewmates indulge themselves in. You'd think they'd have figured out by now that there really is no such thing as keeping things hidden from her -- although you know just as well that she'll never be the one to tell anyone else about it.
Notes: Robin's little bit of insight here occurs, as she mentions, on the 18th day of the weird little affair Sanji and Zoro have embarked upon. Thus, it happens after "Close Your Eyes", "Eyes Wide Open", "Number One, Baby", and "Dangerous Game", and before "See No Evil", "No Good Deed", "Hear No Evil", "Speak No Evil", "...Goes Unpunished", "Intervention", "Two Sides of the Story", "Turning Point", "Culmination", "Break Down", "Dissolution", "Contemplation", "A Man's Way", and "Hit & Run".

As far as she'd ever heard, any blowjob was a good blowjob, unless too many teeth were involved (and the definition of "too many", for men like these, probably varied somewhat from the usual as well). So it hadn't really surprised her when their first tentative attempts had been successful (read, "sufficiently pleasant to bring the other back for more").
After that, it seemed they'd each decided to challenge themselves, or perhaps each other, because that was just... how those two were, really. Neither would stand for being less than the other, although each did have their own special areas of expertise. Since this, however, was not one of those, it was open territory for their ongoing competition.
She wasn't completely sure when, during the eighteen days they'd been together, Zoro had started keeping his eyes open instead of pressed firmly closed, watching for cues instead of using his other, more accurate physical senses to gauge his partner's pleasure. Or when Sanji had begun to let his own eyes slip shut, moving by learned instinct alone.
She was certain, however, of two things. First, neither man would appreciate her voyeurism. Although their stated reasons would vary, she knew the real reason was that neither would want to be seen in his moment of weakness.
The second thing, however, was a little less evident, something she'd realized only yesterday.
Whether Zoro knew it or not (and she was willing to bet he didn't, yet), the look on his face when Sanji came undone beneath him was no longer mere gloating satisfaction at gaining the upper hand. No, that particular wistful expression was the sort a man got when his beloved was especially beautiful.
So Robin was certain that, sooner than later, her dear, sweet, little Sanji-chan would find his love returned.
