My second post for the Bug themes
TITLE: THE LOVEBUG TOPIC: Bug

NOTES: Still nothing new idea in this drabble. But, my so so so much many thanks for kakairupowns-swan for the beta, dude ^_^ Thank you.

He tried to just sit in the chair in front of the reindeer doctor, but then decided to stand up again. After a moment he sat back down, only to stand right back up, all the while aching to smoke his cigarettes but knowing for sure that Chopper would prohibit his coming down to the infirmary again, so he tried his best to endure.

“Sanji, you might want to sit down. I mean, you came in here to find out the result of the test that I did to you yesterday, right?” Chopper’s voice somehow managed to calm him down.

So, he took the advice and sat back in the chair. Then he exhaled a long sigh, ready to hear whatever the little reindeer doctor’s verdict was about his health condition.

I knew I should’ve cut down on my smoking habit. Well, it’s too late now… was all he could think of.

“So, Chopper… what’s the result? It’s bad, isn’t it? How many days do I have left, anyways? Tell me so that I can prepare the rest of my days and dedicate them to the happiness of every single lady in this world…” his voice slowly rose until he was shouting this last declaration like dripping fire.

Chopper only looked confused by his reaction.

“Wait, Sanji. I think you’ll be just fine, okay? It’s just that I have to say sorry, I can’t cure your illness. But maybe Zoro could…”

Sanji stiffened at that.

“What does the shitty-Marimo have to do with this, anyway?” he suddenly felt rather alarmed at the mention of his number one rival on board.

“Well, you said that lately you’ve had several symptoms like you have a fever when you’re near the sake supply, or you felt like you could hear your heart beating faster when you were near the porthole window, right?”

“...Yeah, that’s right. So, did I get bit by a bug hiding in the sake cabinet in the galley, or something? Because if yes, we should really call a bug buster, Chopper. I don’t want my kitchen contaminated; it’s not good for the ladies…” he said. I knew it was a good thing to hate bugs…

Chopper gave him an amazed look. “No, no Sanji. We don’t need to call any bug buster. You only need to talk to Zoro to cure it. See, the only one who uses the sake besides you is Zoro, right? Have you ever felt your heart beat faster when you didn’t see Zoro training outside through the porthole?”

“… No, actually.” He answered, rather confused as to where this conversation would lead him.

Suddenly Chopper’s smile widened, and a red blush tinted across his cheeks. “So I was right! That’s the real cause of your illness Sanji! The bug didn’t bite you, but you did caught a lovebug for Zoro!”

Sanji froze up at that.
