My third post for the Bug themes
TITLE: HAPPY BIRTHDAY, CAPTAIN! TOPIC: Bug

It was rather cold that day, and it only made the rubber stomach of the Thousand Sunny’s captain hungry. He needed his meat. So, quietly, he walked out of the boys’ bunkroom, rather tiptoeing, with his eyes bulging out all the while, keeping his attention on his sleeping nakama.

Especially Sanji. He really didn’t want to wake up the cook, or else he’d get kicked again. And worse, he would never have his meat.

After he reached his destination in front of the kitchen’s huge white refrigerator, he was rather surprised that the refrigerator, for once, wasn’t locked up. Sanji seemed to not set the mechanical keys on this night.

Luffy’s grin widened. Well, Ace always said that you should never refuse what people offer you…

Then, the captain did what he did best, and began his newest adventure at meat island and started to explore…

Meanwhile, in the boys’ bunkroom, two shadows moved a little from where they were laying. They stared into each other’s eyes.

“...So, are you sure you’re gonna let our captain empty your meat supply, cook? He may never even thank you for all the meat he eats so freely tonight, you know. Knowing Luffy, he might forget that today is his birthday, anyways…” Zoro snorted and then chuckled a bit.

Sanji also chuckled at what the swordsman had to say.

“Yeah, but I don’t need his thank you anyways, Marimo. Luffy already put me one step ahead to finding a way to mine and that shitty old geezer’s dream. I don’t mind his bugging me for one night for the meat. Today, he can steal all the meat whenever the captain wants it…”

After saying it the cook turned to face Zoro.

“Actually, it’s yourself the one that you should worried about. Luffy already helped you towards your dream too, and knowing you, I’m pretty sure that you’ll do something stupid with a lot of bloodshed to help pay him back, which even will cause someone like Luffy to stop bugging us because he doesn’t want his nakama getting hurt because of him... You don’t have a plan for doing something like that, do you, Zoro?”

Zoro froze up for a few moments. Realizing that his rival can sometimes seem to read his mind; being observed so intently by those deep blue eyes, here in the silence of the bunkroom, he was really aware that he couldn’t lie in answer.

“… Maybe. I don’t know, cook… I really don’t know. I mean, you’ll do the same, right?”

Sanji stayed silent, knowing that Zoro was right.

In the dark, both men kept their eyes locked on each other, their minds flying away to somewhere in the future, to the day when they decide that it’s okay for their captain to bug them to death.

Somewhere, from outside the bunkroom, you could hear the peaceful snores of the Thousand Sunny’s captain after having his stomach filled with all of the meat. He let his straw hat laying in to cover his already puffed stomach. It seems like he can feel that his nakama will always guard him, even in his sleep…

Luffy is really lucky to have such crews.
I like the omake too. Luffy always gives me courage whenever I feel down. Happy b'day Luffy x3
