Little ditty, 'bout...
Jul. 2nd, 2008 08:35 amTitle: That Old Dial
Topic: classics
Word Count: 50
Rating: PG
Pairing: Franky/Brooke (I think)
Disclaimer: Characters and setting? Not mine. Probably just as well. Here, have them back...
Summary: Classic Rock takes on the old classics...
Excuse: I imagine the rest of the pirates would probably like even "younger"/newer music; Brooke's "Bink's Sake" strikes me as the approximate equivalent of 40's Big Band music, whereas Franky strikes me more as a DiscoPop kinda guy, but for nakama, he's trying!
Notes: I'm not Bob Seger; I couldn't be filking his song if I were!
~~~
Just take that old dial off the shelf;
I'll sit and listen to it by myself!
Today's music ain't got the same sway.
I like that old time Bink's Sake...
"So, Brooke, whaddaya think? Super, right?"
"Ah, Franky... Your enthusiasm does my old bones good -- and I'm only bones!!! Yohohoho!"
