Title: Done Like Dinner
Topic: euphemism (sort of? more like innuendo, but...)
Word Count: 100
Rating: PG, unless you're Zoro
Pairing: not really, although you could argue for Zo/San if you wanted
Disclaimer: Characters and setting? Not mine. Probably just as well. Here, have them back...
Summary: Um...
Excuse: No. Really. I need one, and I'm severely tempted to blame
sabershadowkat, but I think this is mostly my fault.

"...poked it with my meat thermometer, and it was aaaaaall done. Except the applause."
"Oi, shit-cook, is that what they're calling it these days?"
A momentary incredulous look, and then a flurry of offended fury manifested in the form of the usual whirlwind of feet and blades.
"See, Luffy, this is why Sanji doesn't fight with kitchen equipment." Usopp nodded sagely to himself, as he dragged his captain out of the way of the developing brawl. And next time, he reminded himself, he'd have to make sure the quarrelsome duo weren't within earshot of his stories of his roasting prowess.

Date: 2008-07-09 11:42 pm (UTC)Have you heard the Subway commercials where the construction worker says "They call me Mr. Big Hot Pastrami"? They recently changed it to "Mr. Big Hot Double Meat." Not seeing it being less porny!
