Drabble: Another Stage

OMG....I'm writing again. I had an itch and had to scratch it. Hehe.

“O-oi…cook…get your fucking ass up.” Zoro grunted out as he pushed his heavy and tired body up onto his arms. He took a few deep breaths closing his eyes at the pain that radiated through his entire body. The harpoon that had been thrown from the other pirate ship had managed to cut him from his ribcage to knee on its descent. The other wounds, although minor, were numerous in count and everything was finally adding up. Sweat and blood dripped into his eyes and chills ran through his body.

 

Good old feeling of living.

 

“F-f-fuck off…m-marimo. I’m trying to serve a higher order at the moment.” Sanji replied uncharacteristically quiet. Zoro lifted his head up looking at the black covered back of the blond who was lying face down on shoreline, his lower half in the water as the waves lapped around him turning pink as they moved out back to sea. Zoro cringed as he moved his legs, the wound making his skin feel tight. He dragged his body over to cook’s taking a seat next to him.

 

“Yo…come on aho. Get up.” The swordsman huffed out, his hand pushing the cook’s shoulder. The body rolled over and Zoro’s eyes widened as the sight. The blue shirt that Sanji had worn was now a dark purple and left a crimson imprint on the sand below.

 

“Shit…” Zoro cursed as his own pain was numbed by the realization. “Why the fuck didn’t you say anything you fucking asshole.” Zoro exclaimed angrily as he pushed his palm heavily against the hole in Sanji’s chest. Sanji’s eyes starred up past Zoro unfocused and glazed.
