Summary: I tried to make it a sweet and cute oneshot... Zoro accidentally shows his feelings towards Luffy. How will the captain react? (Okay... that summary sucked)

"Oww... Yes Sanji, I won't steal food anymore," Luffy grumbled.
THWACK! "Say it like you mean it."
"Okay, okay! I won't come near the kitchen anymore! Hmmph." The ship's captain grumpily backed out of the kitchen and sat down on deck to nurse his wounds.
Zoro, watched Luffy from the corner of his eye. Cute. Very cute. "Are you okay?" The swordsman set down his ridiculously heavy training tools and perched next to the younger boy.
"Yeah. I'm fine; My hand just hurts like hell," he replied with one of his adorable pouts.
"Sanji's a bastard isn't he?"
"Yeah."
"Mmhm." Without thinking, Zoro took Luffy's small hand in his own and pressed his lips to it, kissing it softly. "Does it feel better now?" the swordsman said, his cheeks a violent red.
"Of what medical value was that?"
Zoro blushed harder, if possible. "Well, umm. Whenever this kid got hurt near my neighborhood when I was small... erm... well... his mom would kiss where he got cut... and... he seemed to fell better... and..."
"Really? Huh. I guess I do fell a little better. Thanks!" Luffy grinned at his friend and got up.
"N-no problem," the older boy managed to stutter.

What the hell was I thinking? Maybe he won't care. Maybe he won't mention it to the others. Shit. I'm so goddamn stupid. Zoro was too busy lecturing himself to notice what he was doing.
"Oh FUCK!" he yelled, as the anchor slipped from his hands. The sharp end of the device managed to hook onto his forearm and tear a large gash in his skin.

Zoro sat on the deck, his arm bandaged tightly by Chopper a few minutes earlier. The wound didn't really hurt much, but for some reason, his thoughts kept anxiously drifting back to Luffy. He hadn't seemed to notice anything, but then...
"That looked pretty deep," the dark-haired boy commented, settling himself down next to his crewmate.
"Y-yeah," Zoro stammered lamely, blushing slightly.
Then his eyes snapped wide open in surprise as he suddenly felt Luffy's lips against his own. The younger pirate pushed Zoro's lips apart with his own, and tongue brushed tongue. Zoro, closed his eyes and pulled the small boy closer to him, crushing their lips together passionately, desperately, not wanting this magical feeling before him to fade away. And then Luffy gently pulled away, a smile spreading across his face.
"Does your arm feel better now?"
"Huh?"
"Does it feel better? After I kissed you?"
Realization gradually dawned on Zorro. "Y-you're supposed to kiss where I was hurt, idiot!" he sputtered.
"It doesn't feel better?"
"Well it--"
"Does it feel better?"
"Yeah."

Date: 2008-08-18 05:40 am (UTC)My mind was in the gutter halfway through and thought that he was going to get an injury to 'little luffy' and have Zoro kiss it better.
That Zoro started their bonding by commiserating about Sanjis "bastardness" made me smile too.
