So, I managed to acquire an afro from this really tall old man in crazy high top shoes. And with it, my punching power was increased by a factor of one hundred. I took out all those fighting kangaroos and protected my village, all thanks to the help of the afro, and my own prowess of course. Here, just let me…”
Usopp gave the massive hairstyle a slight tug to the left, leaning back to critically eye the alignment of the sideburns.
“There, that’s perfect. There’s no way Foxy has a chance.”
“Course not. I’d never let him take a member of my crew.”
“I know, but just for the extra luck…”
The hug was fierce, strong, as if the afro was still exerting its influence on Usopp. Luffy grinned.
“I don’t need luck, I’ve got skills and the ‘fro.”
“Whatever. Now come on, champ. Let’s show ‘em what ya got!”
