Sanji cursed under his breath as he stumbled and slipped in the mud that had a suction hold around his ankles.
That dumb, shitty, directionally retarded swordsman. The idiocy of that man surprised him to no end as Sanji replayed the previous conversation in his head.
Sanji clenched his teeth together as he slipped and his cheek smashed into a rock.
“Motherfucker.” Sanji muttered as he got to his knees and pulled himself up staggering over.
“You look like shit.” Zoro’s deep voice came over the silence that echoed throughout….wherever they were. Sanji’s breath caught in a sigh of relief for a moment before he exhaled.
“Likewise.” The blond replied as he took the few final steps over to the other. He looked around trying to judge where they were.
“Oi…marimo. Get up. Lying around all day isn’t going to help us out. “ Sanji said tonguing the inside of his cheek where his teeth had bitten the skin. “I don’t remember there being any land around the ship. Not for a good couple of miles or more.”
“That’s what I told him.”
“Told who?” Sanji asked looking down at the man who he realized was taking a nap.
“The boatman. He said since we sunk with that marine ship we have to wait for another ship to come and bring us back up. So I’m waiting. The Sunny should be here soon.” Zoro said as if it was the most logical thing in the world.
Sanji had screamed at him and walked away searching desperately for another way out. His mind screamed that Zoro was wrong, but there was the sinking feeling that he was right, again.
It was why the blond was walking slowly back to the man who was still lying on the ground, waiting for him.
