Sinking in debt, obligation, and the weight of his own dreams and expectations…he really shouldn’t be spending what little money he has left to eat here but it’s times like this he feels he needs it the most.

The thin blond man placed the heavenly meal in front of him and leaned against the counter. The plate held a bounty, far more than he had ordered and well over what he could afford.

It was enough Sanji didn’t hurry back to the kitchen…it was quickly becoming apparent to him he came here not only for the food but for this mans presence, and probably more so.

“I didn’t order this much…”

“Idiot...I’ve done this my whole life, I can tell when someone’s hungry. I’ll feed you if you need it, money be damned. You need the strength to climb to the top right?”

The first bite taken with a nod. It makes the food even better that the cook seems to silently root for his dream too.

“It’s delicious.” Then another ten bites. “Thank you.”

The day would come, he promised himself again, that he would enter the dinner and take the chef away with him. They would follow their dreams together, because no way the chef was content just staying here… he could see the longing for something else in that blue eye. Something the man eating Sanjis finely crafted meal wanted to be able to give him.

He knew he would be leaving the place with revitalized motivation as always. Even to begin the journey together with him…that was another important dream worth working so hard for.
