Last-minute entry! But seeing my love for blasts in all shapes and forms, I just had to post for this topic despite RL :)

Forty-seven.

Kaku ambled over, admiring the moon and Lucci's profile cut against it. "Lovely night."

Lucci's sensuous smile with a flash of teeth suggested the preceding bloodshed had made it even better.

Forty.

Hands in his pockets, Kaku leaned back against the rooftop garden’s balustrade. "So that was the best bodyguards money could buy? I wasn’t impressed."

"Hmm. Are we leaving now?"

“What’s your rush?” Kaku drawled, eyes on Lucci’s face.

Thirty-two.

"What indeed."

A second later- thirty-one- the predatory smile was fastened possessively into Kaku’s neck.

The balustrade screeched beneath them. Kaku's hands shot up and tangled in dark hair.

Twenty-six.

He fought back even as he pulled Lucci closer, but Lucci never hesitated to unleash the full measure of his strength against him, and with a thrust of hips Kaku was overpowered, pressed down, mounted, neck and lips bitten, breath crushed out of him, body aching for more-

Sixteen.

The job was everything and it had shaped them. Absolute Justice required absolutes. It invaded every aspect of their lives and they welcomed it. Power was Lucci's thing, whereas Kaku got off on the risks involved in all-out battles, tall buildings and screwing around with Rob Lucci...

But in this instance, as it'd been Kaku's turn to see to the cleanup tonight- twelve- there was some information he really ought to share. Like, now.

Ten

He tore away from the kiss. "Hmm-Lucci-short fuse-"

Lucci showed no surprised, and took that extra insolent second to lick Kaku's sensitized throat (seven). "Then I guess we're leaving now after all."

Before he could even gasp, Kaku was pulled bodily over the railing and falling.

"Boom," said Kaku, quite redundantly. Then, while fire was still raining down around them, "Race you back to the hotel room."
