It always almost happened, never for real. It was so unfair! If there wasn’t going to be any justice then she would make her own. So, she decided to take the matter into her own hands. Her skills with the weather would come in handy today.
“Franky, turn the Sunny to the west, please.” She ordered the cyborg, who was currently steering.
Franky quickly shifted his attention to the navigator. “Hey, it looks like it’s gonna storm. Are you sure you wanna go that way?”
“Yes, Franky. We’re going that way. Even if there is a storm, I’m sure that Sunny will pull through. Don’t tell me that you don’t believe in the ability of your own ship?” Nami’s smile widened as she conned the cyborg.
“No way woman! My baby is SUPER!~” The shipbuilder struck a pose, before adding, “… Well, you’re the navigator, so if you say so…”
“Yes, I say so.” She answered.
That’s right. She was the navigator, and today she’d be the director as well.
Just like Franky predicted, the ship collided with a heavy storm. Everyone began running around and securing the ship. Hmm, it looks like the waves are getting larger in this spot…
Even with the wind blowing her hair across her face, Nami’s smile could still be seen.
“Zoro! Help! I’m gonna fall!” She screamed suddenly, pretending to fall. The swordsman, who was busy helping keep their captain out of the sea, quickly shifted and ran towards her. Just like she predicted, the cook was right on his heels.
“Oi, marimo! I’ll help Nami-san!” Sanji shouted, fighting against the wind that messed with his blonde hair.
She didn’t catch Zoro’s answer but was aware that they were already involved in their own form of bickering as they closed in on her position.
Once they were almost upon her, and still bickering (she wondered if they actually had the intention of helping her at all), she ducked her head and swung out her leg so Sanji bean to fall, and then with a cat-like move, she pushed the green-haired man at the cook. All the while she pretended the storm was tossing her about.
When finally that happened, no storm or other obstacles could dull her glorious sense of satisfaction. At last, justice made her secret passion a reality.
To finally see those two idiots kiss each other…
