Sep. 1st, 2004 08:15 pmWasn't going to post anything this week, but this popped into my head at work. Probably should have chucked it. None the less...
Title: Checkup
Pairing: Chopper x Everyone! (just kidding... that's a no)
Rating: G content- mild language
Word Count: 294
It was that time again. Checkups were always a production on the Going Merry, but timid as ToniToni Chopper may be, he was a doctor at heart and his patient’s health came first. Whether they liked it or not.
Honestly, there weren't many problems, now that he had gotten used to the routine- Robin acquiesced with little if any prodding. Hers was probably the easiest appointment he had.
Sanji was easy now, too. If he resisted, all Chopper had to do was ask Robin to request it and he'd bend over backwards (literally, once) to get his checkup.
He had asked Nami once, but she wanted paid. At least she didn’t ask for compensation for her own. After her near death experience, she seemed to trust his judgment.
Ussop didn’t even notice he was having his, once Chopper got him talking. Unfortunately, it took longer when the amazing stories distracted him, but Ussop always had more for the reindeer- so he could force himself to keep working.
Luffy would do almost anything, once promised a piece of meat. It would work better if he could get him to stay still, but the doctor would take what he could get.
Zoro… required a little work.
“I don’t need a checkup- I’m perfectly fine.”
He would continue to say that with a sucking chest wound- the doctor just knew it. But he had his techniques for the swordsman as well.
“There’s nothing to be afraid of, Sanji didn’t even squirm for his shots…”
Occasionally it took provoking his manhood.
“Who’s afraid?!”
The chair nearly toppled in his rush to sit. Pushing a sleeve further up, he thrust his arm in the doctor’s face.
“Go on, stick me- use a bigger needle than that Shitty Cook’s, too!”
