words: 403
pairing: Hmmm...male mugiwara + plant
rating: NC17...sorta
topic: One More Time (tentacles)
It looked like a thick thorny rose stem whose flower was long since plucked off, leaving it a rather unremarkable muddy green. It had a fragrance though that was fresh like cut grass and enticed to inhale more often and deeply when in its presence.
It had been on Choppers desk in the boys bunk since the island a week ago. He had been taking an occasional thorn or sample of sap from the plant and taking notes on it’s properties during experimentation quite excitedly since then too. The info he had come across about this plant was intriguing but in short supply.
It had antiseptic qualities that encouraged powerful healing not unlike a more powerful aloe. The smell was nice too. Chopper was beginning to suspect it might have memory affecting properties too. His notes…sometimes he would write down a revelation only to realize that he had already written it down the day before.
As the small doctor went through his notes from the past week he noted his male nakama have had an unusual run in of strange temporary afflictions. Sore throats, abrasions across private areas, and an occasional bruise.
Today Sanji and Zoro both had seen him presenting with all three.
With a yawn, he jotted a note for the morning to check the plant as the potential cause of a bizarre allergy. He looked at his sleeping companions and turned out the light with a click.
He sensed movement.
With a panic he turned the light on again.
His little plant wasn’t so little anymore. It had suddenly grown…no..it was still growing! The little thorns grew and coursed out like tentacles of twisted vine and tendrils. One caught the reindeer and held him helpless to watch as the thing grew larger and the thick tendrils effortlessly slipped in to his crewmates hammocks and began to bind, pose, and play.
OH GOD! This was what happened every night?! He needed to leave a note! Get rid of the plant!!! Unfortunately his gasp of realization was the opening the tentacle needed, forcing the green girth down his throat, slick with something that tasted sweet. Fuzzy…
Their muffled cries of shock, anger, frustration, pain, and eventual pleasure was too much to endure.
The next morning he looked at his note about a potential allergy…yes he vaguely remembered writing that. He had a sore throat himself this morning…more research needed to be done.
