Pairing: Sanji/Ace
notes: You kinda need to be caught up in the manga as far as Sanji goes. Bonus if you know where the subject line is refering too.
Of course Sanji eventually got tired of running. It was more judicious to kick the shit out of the first few and make an example of what would happen to the rest if they got too close. That worked out fine and now that they had a shitty report going the cook was able to sit down with the many ugly ass transvestites and their Queen and figure out where the hell he was.
Learning that Sanji was a pirate, the talk had turned to the big news in the pirate world: Ace of the Whitebeard pirates slated execution and the chaos of the power struggle around it.
Sanji trusted Luffy when he had said Ace was strong and had his own adventure. He knew it too. But Luffy didn’t know how deep the shit Ace was in.
Deep enough to require all the nakama you could muster, and after those nights on the road to Alabaster Sanji considered himself and Ace more than good friends.
Luffy didn’t know that either.
With any luck the shitty captain will hear the news and meet him there. Sanji was going to do all he could for Ace…all he needed really was a lift.
The brightly dressed natives had the solution after hearing his plight. The traveling performance troop was touring and happened to be heading out the next day to provide entertainment before the execution.
All Sanji had to do was become one of them, join the troop, let them dress him, perform a few song and dance numbers and he was in.
Sanji grit his teeth at the thought but held firm.
To rescue Ace there was no alternative.

I think Oda LOVES sanji! You can always tell the amount of love the author has for a character by how much they torture them, and as we know right now sanji is in HELL.
