Title: Considered at least
pairing: Sanji/Zoro <---Luffy
rating: R (Nc-17 if you can see in the dark)
words: 211
topic: Alternative
notes: inspired by how hard it is to really take him seriously sometimes.
The Captain commands respect, obedience, and is loved by the entire crew. That’s something he heard once. Shanks? Ace? Grandpa could have even told him…he wasn’t sure anymore.
Luffy was pretty sure his crew respected him...he could feel their trust when he fought the bad guys. Obedience…well he rarely asked anything the guys weren’t going to do anyway but they listened the rest of the time too…so yeah! His crew was obedient.
Loved. This is the aspect that puzzled him the most. He knew the crew loved him…but in some cases it was a different kind of love then he was hoping for.
He was respected right?
He knew Zoro longest! Kinda saved him too! And he had been the one to personally select the handsome chef and protect his home!
As he watched the two men strip each other frantically in the dark bunkroom he had to wonder, why did he get the feeling he was never even considered.
He put a hand down his pants and a finger up his nose as he thought about it.
After awhile the noises got too loud and thinking got too hard…eventually leading the captain to peaceful dreams where he was not only an alternative but the one both men loved the most.
