i'm only doing this because nonoji made me feel guilty for not writing LOL... ok not really, but i had to give her a hard time.

“Okay, so we go in through here, take out this guy, flood this room, break down that wall and we’re free, right?” Luffy looked over at the other captive in the cell with him, hope and pride evident on his face as he played with the pieces of rock and twigs he had used to make the model of their prison.

“Say that this plan of yours does work.  How are we supposed to get out of the cell? In case you haven’t noticed, the walls are seastone.” Nami crossed her arms and looked down at him disdainfully.

“Alright, how about instead, we dig a tunnel, climb back up through here-“ Luffy went flying across the room with the force of Nami’s fist.

“You idiot! We’re on a boat. You can’t dig a tunnel!” The navigator sat wearily on the long bench. The redhead closed her eyes and wondered how long it would take for those two blockheads to realize that they had been captured and come rescue them. Knowing their stamina, it might be a while. For once, Nami wouldn’t mind hearing Sanji’s voice shouting out his undying love for her.

“Hey Nami! What if…”

LOL i started writing this and all i could think of was Miguel and Tulio on El Dorado when they were trying to escape the ship's hold.


and then all i could think of was "Your horse just bit me in the butt!"

i loved the movie Road to El Dorado. i just started typing something up and that was the first thing that came to mind. I was tempted to put in Zoro and Sanji as the captives, but it didn't work as well. Luffy just fit the bill. Gotta love his logic!!

As soon as you mentioned El Dorado, I just giggled. As I read this I giggled more. I loved that scene of them on the ship and the bit about the horse. Such a fun movie. ;D *glomps*

LOL i pulled out the movie to watch last night, but alas, my hubby came home with Dark Knight and i could not turn him down.
