Rating: PG - usual Sanji-vocab *g*
Word Count: 300
Pairing: Sanji x Tiger!Zoro
Topic: Expectant
Notes: I had a plot bunny attack for this one, and read up with on tigers out of curiosity, and found that three types were already extinct D8 so I had a large weepy moment over it, and then posted this up for a cheer-up. Poor tigers. I wish there were real green tigers. That'd be soooooo cooool! *_*
Sanji could tell what people wanted when they didn't know themselves, like Usopps sudden craving for nachos, or Brookes occasional intense need for ice-cream sundaes.
So when a large striped entity slinks into the galley, he thought his ability was needed again.
The Tiger sat on him, leaned heavily against his leg and looked up at him, green whiskers twitching expectantly.
"I've just fed you, Marimo."
The feline just leaned into him further, opening it's mouth, tail flicking about.
"You ate enough to rival Luffy."
A low rumble replied.
"You'll get fat."
It chuffs at him, and rubs it's head against his hip. He sighs and looks down, meets big green eyes, and suddenly knows it's not the munchies that's got Zoro in his kitchen cutting off the blood supply to his foot.
"Oh you want sugar do you?" He reaches down and Zoro lifts his chin. "Feeling affectionate are we, striped bastard?"
After a few moments of scratching the tiger under the chin he shifts and turns placing his other hand on the tigers head, rubbing hard and continuing to scratch his chin. Zoro closes his eyes and leans into it.
Suddenly a loud purr erupts unbidden and Zoro starts, pulling away from the cooks hands and trotting off to sit by the door, brow furrowed and tail swishing furiously.
"Come on, I won't tell anyone." The tiger looks skeptical, he's not sure how, but somehow Zoro manages it.
He opens his arms. "Come on shitty tiger." He shifts his feet apart as Zoro reluctantly stalks over.
The cook watches as Zoro's haunches bunch and in less than a second he has an armful of tiger. Sanji presses his forehead against the big cats and grins. The swordsman wouldn't be caught dead doing this human. He rubs against the cooks face affectionately.
Zoro doesn't like to purr, Sanji notes later, but he does dribble.
