Dec. 19th, 2008 01:57 amTitle: Miss Holiday Golightly, Travelling
Pairing: Aokiji/Sanji
Prompt: Holiday
Rating: Not got a clue
Word Count: 289
Note: Completely self-indulgent. And I got lazy with the ending. And if you haven’t read Truman Capote’s Breakfast at Tiffany’s, the chances of this making sense is close to nil. Oh, and accuracy and characterization went down the drain… damn I fail.
Oh god, I'm sorry. And it's not even funny. I'll try and write something better soonish.
“Freddy darling, I’ve got the mean reds and it just won’t go away.” She let go of the cat she was holding yet it remained sitting by her legs. “Shoo slob,” she nudged it with her foot. “It’s horrible. And I suppose I could go to Tiffany’s now, but it’s already two in the morning, and today is Thursday, and I shan’t look bad in front of Sally because he’s such a dear old man, so…”
“Okay. Blueberry ones?”I knew she liked my pastries. She called me a genius the first time she tried one but then again, she called everyone a genius and a darling. Still, she had come back for them, repeatedly knocking my door at the most unreasonable hours, so I knew she was being honest with me, at least about my cooking.
“You’re an angel Fred,” she patted my cheek and kissed it lightly before her expression changed at seeing the towering man by the door.
“S-S-Sugar! I h-hope you don’t mind, but the d-d-d-door was open. F-F-Fred, was it?”
I felt myself straighten in his presence. “Actually, my real name is Sanji. Mr uh …Aokiji Wildwood.”
“Got it in one, s-s-sugar!”
Holly forcefully gulped her drink down, and raised her chin to look straight up at the man who stole most of her potential partners in her life. “Come on, Fred. I change my mind. We’re going to Tiffany’s.” She pulled at my sleeve.
“Well, see you again sometime Mister Sanji!” He stepped out onto the dimly lit corridor and followed us out to the entrance.
I knew I would see him again. If Aokiji said so, it would happen. And if Aokiji wanted you to turn gay, that would happen as well.
