Not cheese...snow
Dec. 26th, 2008 04:16 pmtitle: Behold the power of snow
rating: Pg13
Pairing: Zo/San
Topic:Snow
words:283
The thing about snow, Zoro notices in absent boredom, is how even a few glistening flakes can change things.
For one…they tend to make things more beautiful.
Fluttered, now resting snowflakes upon Sanjis eyelashes and the still growing white halo upon his golden hair...he didn’t need them. They were annoying overkill…trying to turn the bastard into some innocent and mystical thing of beauty Zoro wouldn’t want to touch like he does.
So he grabs the cooks face.
Sanji hadn’t been expecting it, too focused on looking out into the snowy storm of sea and froth…on watch and unaware of his on going transformation.
Face to face with a surprised deep blue eye Zoro doesn’t explain, instead gently running his fingertips over the mans eyelashes and then down over the mans soft golden hair.
A shiver runs through the cook and Zoro realizes the snow had changed this too. The pale chin in his hand feels more of ice than flesh…and he is overcome with the wrongness of someone so hot blooded being this cold. Especially when the cooks soft close breaths on his neck was heating him up so nicely.
The feverish heat spreading through his body was smothering and burning and begging to be shared. The kiss was entirely a reaction that way. He was just trying to return some heat to the guy…
He had never acted or dwelled on those thoughts burning in him before now. Had never kissed the cook or ever thought Sanji would kiss him back. That it would be so enjoyable connected to and wrapped around him, he had imagined but never thought possible.
That was just another thing a few specks of snow had changed.
