BackStage Pass
Sep. 29th, 2004 07:06 pmTitle: BackStage Pass
Pairing: Z/s but only if you really look
Words: 299, damn that was close
Rating: R, for language
AN: I can’t help but picture this, although the Zolo candy thing is quite tempting too. Wanted to put this up over the weekend but things went complicated.
“What’cha watching?” Zoro questioned as he sat beside his costar on the couch. Before them was a small TV, which the blonde kept grinning at.
The grin grew wider, “Nothing.” A heavy silence followed. “Zolo.”
“God fucking dammit!” the swordsman cursed grabbing the remote from his hands. When he hit play he saw that it was the episode they jst finished filming, but this was the first either had seen the finished product. He pointed an accusing finger at the screen, “It’s not my god damned fault!”
“I know,” his partner smirked lighting up a cig. He gestured to the episode; ZoLO was currently tied up. “But what’s the big deal oh Sharky One?”
“Fuck you.”
Sanji pouted hardly able to stop laughing, “But Master Shark, I want to learn the fishy ways! Do not discourage the young guppy! Am I too much jellyfish for your scales to handle?”
Zoro snatched his cigarette away, having enough of the taunting, “Where’s your lollipop?”
The laughter died suddenly as the show played on in the background. Coby was just about to introduce himself to ZOLO. “Fuck you.”
“But Sanji,” the mosshead grinned back, “the candy is so – “
“You’re the one with the bad ocean metaphors ya damn bilge rat!” the cook retorted. When the other scowled he chalked it up to victory. “Sucker.”
“No, you’re the sucker,” ZoLO snarked, “candy sucker.” Realizing just what it was they were arguing about, very abruptly, they began laughing together, nearly falling off the couch. Finally Zoro sneaked out a, “Quiet Jellyfish.”
The laughter set off again as Sanji recovered his cigarette. They sat together watching the rest of the episode dying of laughter. Until Zoro looped his arm around the blonde, “You know, I bet I can find episode 20.”
“I hate you.”
Now does the title make sense?
