Apr. 8th, 2009 01:07 amTitle: Just Another Day in the Life of an Idiot
Word Count: 231 (w/o the omake)
Pairing: Luffy/Zoro
Topic: Sixty Seconds
Author's Note: Takes place during that one anime special episode. You know, where Luffy is a detective in ancient Jipang. Enjoy.
Detective Straw Hat Luffy left the investigation room with a frown on his face.
"Man, I just can't get this guy to talk! If we don't get the location of where the kidnappers took Vivi-chan, Onami isn't going to give me lunch today! I need MEAT!!!"
The green-haired monk simply stared at the detective's ranting before responding.
"Give me sixty seconds with the guy."
"Huh?"
Zoro gave a devilish grin, "I'll get him to talk."
"..." Luffy grinned and nodded in understanding. "Oh really? You going to use your monk powers to persuade him?"
"...I'm not a monk," Zoro muttered as he walked into the investigation room.
Seven seconds after Zoro went in, the guy squealed the location of Vivi's captors. Luffy had nothing to say as Zoro came out of the room.
"You owe me for that."
Luffy's face turned into a pout for a moment before he beamed a smile at Zoro. "M'kay. I'll pay you back."
"Hn. I'm hungry, pay me back by treating me to-"
Zoro didn't get to finish his sentence. Luffy had pressed his lips against his in a sloppy, innocent kiss.
"There! Now we're even! Hey, I'm hungry, let's go get lunch!"
"..."
Luffy turned back to stare at the monk in confusion. "What's wrong? I though you were hungry."
"I feel like we're forgetting something...nah, it's probably just my imagination. Let's go eat.

Omake
A certain member of the royal family was tied up in the secret hideout of the Clown family. "You'll never get away with your plan for revenge! Detective Luffy would never allow this to happen!"
One of Buggy's lackey's suddely ran into the room. "Buggy, sir! It has been reported that Straw Hat Luffy and his monk friend has been incapacitated by that restaurant owner and the cook for their incompetence in regards to saving the Princess!
In other words, Vivi thought to herself, I'm doomed.
