"But the child who is born on the Sabbath Day is bonny and blithe and good and gay"
Robin remembered the lines of that old poem as she watched Luffy running to and fro on the deck of 'Sunny', Ignoring doctors orders to stay in bed after the injuries he had received in battle severe even for the rubber man. Luffy no matter the situation did what he felt was right, seemingly ignorant of social convention and everything else. Weather defying dictators or kissing his own brother in a way that didn't imply family he never held anything back and he rarely did something that hurt the undeserving. Sipping her drink the historian mused on the others of the D clan. Ace who had gone to hell and back to avenge the death of a nakama and kissed Luffy back just the same , Saulo who had taught her the importance of smiling even as he drew his final breath, Roger who was said to have died with a smile on his face daring men to find a dream, Luffy's father and grandfather as well high flying spirits with outrageous personalities, and great dreams. These men who all shared the trait of smiles, and laughter, and passion, and though few knew her research had found each was born on a full moon Sunday. Who were these men who had done such great things even the disreputable Blackbeard the only D she knew of born under a new moon, did great things terrible yes but great. " What is it this Will of D that thread of destiny they share..." she mused as she sipped her drink smiling as she watch the captain pounce Ace again, the will of D she was interested to see where it took her into the next horizon.
