“Sanji-san, I must tell you something important,” Brook said one lazy afternoon as the Sunny drifted through a calm weather system. Everyone seemed to disperse themselves around the ship, amused in their own activities as Sanji finished serving refreshments.
“Oh....ok Brook. What is it?” Sanji said as he tucked the serving tray under his arm and stood next to the skeleton who had stopped the cook by the stairs.
“I have discovered religion,” Brook said with a slightly awesome expression. Sanji raised his eyebrow at the awkward revelation the skeleton had just revealed. For some reason, Sanji thought that having died once already, religion might not have been the biggest concern that this devil fruit user might have. Releasing a breath of smoke out, the cook gave a hesitant, but supportive smile.
“Well that’s good for you Brook,” Sanji said unsure what to say to this. He had tried to have this conversation with the marimo early in their journey, but the swordsman proved to be too single-minded to get messed up in any of that shit. Nodding, he turned to continue up the stairs to the kitchen as bone fingers encircled the pale wrist, stopping Sanji in his tracks.
“No, no Sanji you don’t understand. I have found a religion,” Brook said trying to reorganize his thoughts. Sanji stopped and allowed for the other to explain his reasoning.
“I have found a religion devoted to...panties,” Brook revealed saying the last part is a whisper as if it were a sacred and taboo word.
“Oh dear god,” Sanji said stunned stumbling in his walk and missed a step grabbing the railing quickly.
“That was what I did when I saw it,” the skeleton replied as Sanji pulled himself back up and stared at Brook.
“How does one convert to it?”
